Recommendation to Parents
- Parents are expected to cooperate with the school authorities in enforcing regularity and discipline. They should see to it that their children prepare their lessons and take an take active interest in the activities of the school
- Parents are required to sign progress reports, or furnish any other Information when so requested. Failure to do so will cause great mutual inconvenience.
- Parents must look into the student’s diary everyday and see that the lessons are revised daily and assigned homework completed regularly. Class Tests/Unit Test Copies/ papers are to be checked duly and signed.
- We earnestly ask parents to avoid any kind of criticism or negative remarks about the student’s teacher as that would affect the student’s progress and lose he respect for the teacher. If you have any complaint, please meet the Principal.
- Private tuitions are not encouraged. Parents/guardians may not make private arrangement for tuition with the members of the staff, without consulting the Principal. All private tuition, if found extremely necessary, will be arranged for by the Principal herself. Teachers are not permitted to give private tuition to their own students.
- Parents and Guardians are specially requested to notify the school of any change in their address and phone numbers.
- When communicating with the Principal, parents are requested to mention in their letters Name, Roll No., Class and Section of their child.
- Parents, Guardians or other persons are not allowed to see the students or teachers during class time. They should be met during their free periods with prior appointment.
- Parents are requested not to send of their children during class hours except in cases of unforeseen circumstances and in such cases a written application must be submitted.
- Long leave will not be granted to children to attend social functions as it undermines the importance of learning, hardwork and regularity.
- Blazers, Cardigans, tiffin boxes and bags must bear the Name and Roll No. of the owner(child).
- Parents are requested to foster in their children habits of neatness, punctuality, hard work and regularity.
- No parents, friends or servants are allowed to walk about the school premises or visit classrooms during class hours.
- Written tests will not be repeated if students are absent on the day the test is held.
- The school will not be held liable for any damages on account of accidents which may occur during activities or excursion. The school can only assure that every precaution will be taken to ensure the safety of the students.
School Rules and Discipline (For the Special Attention of the Students)
- At the first warning bell, all must get into their class lines immediately, for the Assembly. Students are expected to obey the Captains appointed by the school.
- Strict regularity and punctuality, implicit obedience, courtesy in words and deeds, cleanliness in dress and person and proper care of books and school property are expected from every student.
- Irregular attendance, habitual lack of interest in school work stealing, misconduct even outside the school premises, willful repeated breaches of school regulations are sufficient reasons for the dismissal of the students from school.
- Students are responsible to the school authorities not only for their conduct in school but also for their general behavior outside. Any report of objectionable conduct on the part of any student will make her liable for disciplinary action. Hence misbehavior in public, streets and bus is liable to the same action.
- The principal in the interest of the school and without assigning any reason, may ask a Parents/Guardian to withdraw the student, should her conduct, behavior or influence, be in any way detrimental to the common good of the school and its smooth running.
- All students are required to wear the school uniform. Neatness in dress and person should be cultivated by each student. Long nails, nail polish, jewelers or the bringing of expensive articles to school is strictly prohibited.
- All should be particularly careful not to throw paper or other waste materials anywhere in the school premises. They should use the waste paper baskets and bins provided for this purpose.
- No books, other than what is prescribed, periodicals, transistors, calculators, cell phones etc. may be brought into the school without the explicit permission of the Principal. Students may not exchange library books without the permission of the librarian. Nothing should be written in the library books and dog’s ears should be avoided. Instead a book mark should be used.
- All are expected to speak English in school. Nepali may be spoken during the Nepali classes only.
- Gifts to members of the staff or other demonstrations in their honour require the previous sanction of the Principal. All the students should endeavour to excel in practice of good manners and obedience to their teachers. Students are expected to attend all school functions and meetings in school uniform.
- Once the children report to school they must not leave the school premises without the permission of the Principal. They must get a gate-pass from the school office.
- A student who fails in the same class for two years in succession or who is overage due to failure in different classes should be withdrawn from the school.
- All senior girls are expected to put in at least 3-4 hours of regular study. The junior girls must spend at least an hour or two revising their lessons.
- Strictly prohibited activities which would result in immediate dismissal from the school:
- Drinking Alcoholic Beverage
- Smoking
- Using Drugs
- Modelling
- Using Unfair Means in Examination
- Deliberately Avoiding Classes
- Beauty contests, acting in films or serials.
- Students are to bring their school diary every day and keep a proper record of Homework, which has to be signed by the teacher and parent/guardian.
- All Students require to have the ID tag displayed permanently (worn around the neck) for proper identification.
